Varied and satisfactory breakfast - cereal, fruit, eggs and slices of fresh bread. Magnificent location, next door to a cathedral and a museum. Next door to restaurants and bars and the central station available walk from the hotel.

The best thing without a doubt is the location, not only are you in the heart of Amsterdam but you are also 3 minutes from the train and bus station with all the advantages that this entails. The breakfast is a very complete buffet: coffee, juices, teas, breads, fruits, cereals, yogurt, sausages, .. We took a triple room without window, it was quite wide, quiet and comfortable.
What I liked the least was the cleanliness, at this point I'm starting to think that if you take a more or less low cost hotel abroad they are usually not as clean as in Spain so here it depends on the demands of each one. I arrived at the hotel I found some hair in the shower, I told the receptionist about it and it's true that that same afternoon it was removed. there is quite a lot of dust on the floor, in the area of the small table there were stains of what I think would be spilled liquids and not cleaned and shower was blackened by some parts. again is very subjective and, although I have these complaints, hotel in general was very good, especially considering the prices in Amsterdam during the summer.

Location
The Picture of the rooms on the internet is nothing like the room!!!! the rooms on the first level was dark and smells of smoke! I asked to be moved, we then had a room on the four level which was brighter, for the price that we payed for two nights( 291euros) was expensive! no tea or coffee in the room, but the beds, sheets and towels were clean.

The location
Like other reviews we found that although the Floris France Hotel was in a good location many other aspects of the Hotel let it down. When we arrived at the Hotel we noticed that our room had a bad stain on the ceiling and the handle of one of the windows was broken so we could not open it. That first night we had rain and we found out why the ceiling had a stain , it leaked all night wetting the bed and floor. We changed rooms and this room was missing a block out curtain which was a pain as the Hotel across the road had spotlights on its wall all night which caused our room to be quite bright. The housekeeping could not get it right either as every day they forgot to do something like no hand towels, a failure to fill the soap dispenser, not cleaning cups and not filling the toilet paper dispenser. Most of the problems incurred could easily have been fixed but it would appear that management is a lacking .

Rooms lacking windows create a claustrophobic vibe!!! Air conditioning issues marred comfort, and outdated furnishings scream for a refresh!!! Showers that spill water everywhere need serious redesign!!!
